This is an English language online self-study course that includes tutor support. At the end of each class, daily tutor input is given to increase awareness of students regarding their academic strengths and weaknesses.
This online course will help in daily situations, and will also develop the speaking, reading, writing and listening skills. The learning materials for this online course covers ESOL Entry level 2; A2/CEFR.
Course Contents
Initial assessment and overview of learner’s objectives.
All four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) are practised using everyday topics and situations.
Type of materials used: Word document worksheets, PDFs, Audios, Videos, Interactive activities, Online Quizzes.
Unit 1: Essential vocabulary and use of common phrases
- Greeting and introducing yourself

- Making notes/answering questions from audio recordings (approx.30 audios in this Unit)
- Functions (describe familiar people, give personal information, ask questions, apologise, give reason etc.)

Entry Requirements
- A student must have access to a PC and fast internet connection in order to complete this course. System requirements: Windows 7, 8, 10. Updated Browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera. Desktop, tablet and mobile views are available.
- IT knowledge, i.e. access, browse and navigate through the learning platform, create, edit and submit documents, play/download audios/videos, use email and skype etc.
- Age: 16+ years
- Commitment towards learning/assessment schedule to successfully complete the course. Estimated study time is around 8 hours per week including tests and tutorials. Note that this is only an estimate the actual time of study depends on the individual.
- Be A1 Users/CEFR= have completed Entry level 1 or take our Placement Test.
- For absolute beginners, we recommend 1:1 online tuition prior to booking this course.
- This course is suitable for candidates with (very) little knowledge of the English language (current A1 Users/CEFR) who wish to develop their language skills: you can read/write simple few word instructions, (fully or partially) understand/participate in short conversations, have an English vocabulary of at least 100 words.
Progression
On successful completion of this course, each student will receive a Certificate of Completion representing the marks received.Certificates are only posted to UK addresses free of charge. To conclude this course successful students have to receive a PASS for each Section.

This level of study corresponds to Entry level 2/ A2 User from the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
