Are there any English language requirements?
For students who do not live or come from an English-speaking country, we recommend taking an IELTS course to improve your language to level 5.5 or higher. Depending on which university you choose to apply to after completing our online courses, your minimum level of English may differ.
Do I need any previous experience and qualifications?
Learners will need to have an IELTS score of 5.5 or above on completion of the online course. However, you can take an English course while studying with us.
You will need to have relevant qualifications depending on the course you are applying to. To enroll in the level 4 course, you will require a minimum level 3 qualification and there is an age requirement.
For level 7 you will require 5 years managerial experience if you do not have a BA degree. This may vary for different Universities.
How do I choose the best course for me?
You should first visit the Online Campus Courses page to view the range of courses we offer to decide which subject suits your interests and future best. You should:
- Review the modules within the course, are they something you are interested in? Are they relevant to chosen career path?
- How the course is taught and assessed? Do you have the motivation to study via distance learning? Are you able to work independently?
It is essential that you do not attempt to expand too far too fast, so ideally you should choose a route that passes comfortably from your current level of qualifications and experience.
How do I apply online for a course?
You can simply choose your course and enrol online, via the Online Campus course page.
Alternatively, you can call the Online Campus Enrollments team on 020 3983 6399 and they will guide you through the Enrolment process.
Do I have to pay for my assignments?
All initial assignment submissions are included in your original charges. If a student does not receive a pass mark for their assignment, they can resubmit the work. There are 8 free resubmissions for each student.
Do I receive help and guidance while writing assignments?
Yes, all learners are encouraged to orchestrate with one of our tutors an initial 30-minute ‘assignment preparation’ task. The session will be performed via Skype, covering all elements of task writing, especially areas that learners need to be careful about.
In addition to this, students have access to tutors who work with Online Campus. The tutor details are available via the Dashboard and will show which areas they specialise in and when they are available for the sessions. If a student wishes to arrange a session they can do so directly from the Dashboard, where they can specify which topic they need assistance with, or they can contact our support team at info@onlinecampus.co.uk
How do I submit my assignments?
Submissions need to be emailed to info@onlinecampus.co.uk.
When learners wish to submit their assignments for marking, they must finish the assignment submission form and assignment cover sheets, which are provided alongside the assignment details.
One initial assignment must be submitted and marked as a pass, and after this, the remaining assignments can be submitted in bulk if the learner wishes. We apply this restriction so that learners can receive feedback on their initial submission and use this feedback to attain a better understanding of what is required to complete an assignment to the required standard.
How Many words do I have to write for my assignments?
For each assignment, we suggest that learners write between 5000 – 8000 words, although students will not be fined for exceeding this word count limit if the work is connected to the assignment topic.
How long does the marking process take?
The assignment results will be provided within 10 working days after submission. Once all assignments are submitted and graded, they will be reviewed by an Internal Verifier, which generally takes up to 10 working days. If the assignments are deemed up to standard, then they will be sent to ATHE for External Verification.
ATHE will check all the work to ensure it meets all requirements, this can take up to 30 working days. Your final marks may take up to 40 working days to obtain, after submitting and making all assignments.
